White saviour complex has become so extreme that participants have devolved into emotional masochists. I mean, it would make a lot more sense if Chelsea Handler came up with the premise for 'hello privilege, it's me Chelsea' while she had a noose around her neck and was riding a mechanical bull with a dildo in the straddle. All the while, she has her eyes peeled open and is forced to watch the Roots on repeat, Clockwork Orange style.

I mean, consider it for a second. The behaviour of the generation before me could be justified if they're collectively enthralled by autoerotic asphyxiation. Until you realize that half of them are still wearing velcro AF1s, so tying a noose seems like a tall order.
